From your Councillors, Dominic King (Mayor), Toni Wright Turner (Deputy Mayor) and Jennie Fenton:
“Tonight is the February Ordinary Council meeting starting at 6pm in Chambers in Bellingen. We hold a series of night meetings over the daylight savings’ months in response to requests from you to hold some meetings outside of typical business hours so come along and see your Council at work. You don’t have to commit to stay for the whole meeting so come and go as you need.

Note that our next public forum is in Urunga on March 20 from 5 – 6:30 so get that in your diaries if you are interested – and please sign up for email notices on Create (https://create.bellingen.nsw.gov.au) as newspapers, rates notices, and Facebook do miss people while emails are more direct. The March Ordinary Meeting is on the evening of March 27 from 6pm in Bellingen.

This month we are talking about the next steps/ progress with the Parking Strategy, Glennifer Reserves Master Plan, Dalhousie Creek Entrance Management Plan (that’s the creek/ ICOL at Hungry Head), Council’s Asset Management Plan and the Koala Advisory Committee (it was really great to see so many knowledgeable people nominate for the Committee!). We are also looking at the Federal Government’s proposed changes to the citizenship guide (including the controversial dress code), support for Arts Mid North Coast and routine library, budget, investment and other operational matters.

Dd you know the Deputy General Manager Operations reports monthly to Council on Water Status and Operations (this is all the works going on and coming up)? You can view these reports and all of the business papers at:
